Digital imaging refers to the act of creating digital images, or photographs, through the use of editing and computer image editing software. Digital imaging involves a number of activities, which include the processing of the images, as well as compression, printing, storage, and display. Mostly, cameras or other photographic devices are used to capture a physical scene and transform it into a digital image. The image can also be produced from an analog image, which may be print, photograph, or photographic film.
