The foot pads kept falling out of the grates of my Frigidaire gas cooktop

After I took the old broken foot pads out of the bottom of the grate foot, I put glue around the bottom of the new foot pads, and inserted them into the bottom of the grate foot. I made sure that there was no excess glue oozing out of the bottom of the grate foot. I let the new foot pads "set" into the grate foot for 24 hours, then I put the grates back onto the cooktop.
By the way, the grate foot pad kit that I ordered fit my Frigidaire model FGGC3045KSB cooktop.
When I asked AppliancePartsPros.com for grate foots that fit my Frigidaire gas cooktop, I was told that there were no grate foots available for my cooktop.
And the price for the grate foot pad kit was outrageous.
