My Repair & Advice Featured Story
We were in need of a new bake element for our 50 years old GE oven. We had no idea what part number or model number will fit our oven. I was searching online to try to find a right part. With luck, I came upon AppliancePartsPros website. I asked my husband to search for a part in this website so that I can prepare lunch. When lunch was ready, I called him. I had no idea he was chatting online with one of the AppliancePartsPros's customer service. After he finished eating, she was still there, waiting for him. Wow, what's a good service! She makes me feel guilty for having her wait for him to finish his lunch.
We had to locate the oven's serial number and/or model number. The oven was quite old, so some of the numbers was missing. My husband took a picture of the oven and the model number (with a missing number) and sent to the online chat customer service. She couldn't find a correct part for our oven, but promised to have one of the technicians researches on Monday (it was on Sunday when we were chatting) and send us an email. On Monday afternoon, we received an email from Robin informed us the model number of our bake element.
We ordered the part. The price was lower than other websites. Two days later, it showed up. Very fast shipping and handling! It was packed very well as well! My husband put it in the oven on the weekend. It fit perfectly, and only took him about 15 minutes or so to install it. We were very please with the purchase and really appreciate for all the helps and great customer service from AppliancePartsPros. We tried the new part by baking pizza that evening. It was great!
