I searched forums and found the likely culprit was the clutch. The Appliance Pros video made the job approachable and directed me to the part I needed right away. The forums also mentioned that replacing the basket drive was typically done at the same time as replacing the clutch, so I bought the more expensive part that also included the clutch.
I followed the steps in the video exactly as shown. Everything was perfectly clear. Had I not had the video, I'm sure it would have taken many hours and I would have been stumped at several places.
While I had it all apart, we washed everything too, so the unit is like-new inside and out. I noticed some rust on the drive stem of the inner basket, so I suspect we'll be replacing that next.
