Appliance: Estate 29"ELECTRIC Dryer TEDS740PQ1
My Repair & Advice
I replaced the burnt out heating element 2 months ago. Worked great for about 6 weeks, then drying time started taking longer. I then replaced the thermal fuse which tested "bad",Cleaned out the lint tubes & around blower motor. dryer still wasn't heating so replaced thermal cut off using kit. It's like having a brand new dryer!
Lesson learned- clean out lint tubes regularly. It took longer to clean traps than make the repairs, which if I had done so when changing out the heating element the last two would not have been necessary.
The videos made the job easy and I was back up & running in no time.
