My Repair & Advice
I really thought I was going to have to call a repairman and pay a couple hundred dollars to fix this and had put it off. But I watched a video on You Tube about replacing burners and thought maybe I could do it myself. I had to find the manual because the model number was not visible on the oven. I was so relieved to find ApplicanceParts because it was so easy to locate the correct element. There was only one choice and it was easy to find once I had the right model number. I ordered the part on Wednesday and on Thursday it arrived. I tripped the breaker to turn the electricity off. Then I used a socket wrench to unscrew the damaged element. I used pliers to help pull the connections off. Then I just slid the connections on the new element, screwed it back in and IT WORKED! I did a self clean and then roasted a turkey breast and potatoes for dinner. I was thrilled!
