Broken shocks on kenmore front load washer

Rusty M. • Morrison, IL • June 30, 2014
My Repair & Advice

Replacing the shocks took about 1.5 hrs. The left side shock is fairly easy to get at....right side not so much. In addition to taking loose one rubber fitting to get at the top plasitc pin, I had to loosen and move out of the way a control module for the bottom pin. I also had a hard time moving the "wire" hose clamp back to where it was and ended up just putting a traditional screw driver hose clamp back on it.
