Clothes dryer would run but not heat

Steven T. • Bryan, OH • June 30, 2014
Appliance: Model 110.60842990 My Repair & Advice

We searched online for "dryer will not heat". With help from a Sears customer service rep, online, we determined we needed a Dryer thermal cut-off kit. We had ruled out the heating element before contacting him so that left the fuse as the problem. The fuse looked different than I anticipated. The customer service rep. sent us the repair video from AppliancePartsPro. com. We ordered the part directly from AppliancePartsPro's website around 4:30pm and received the part by 3:00pm the following day. Within 24 hours of determining the problem, ordering the part and delivery our dryer was fixed! The video was very helpful . The online service from the Sears rep and the PartsPro website was excellent! We will definitely seek out AppliancePartsPro for future use if the need should arise.
