HELPING DO-IT YOURSELFERS SINCE 1999

My dryer was squeaking loudly

Appliance: Model GE PROFILE My Repair & Advice

I ended up replacing the drum belt, the front upper bearing case, four new bearing slides, and the felt drum liner. This was the first time ever attempting to fix a dryer but new it couldn't be that difficult. Having found the right parts through their very well designed Website I noticed that they had a repair video for each part I needed . I just watched the easy to follow video, and that was it! I spent maybe $80.00 in parts, and spent about 20-30 min. fixing the broken parts. If I had called in a repair person it would've cost around $300.00 for the entire service.
