HELPING DO-IT YOURSELFERS SINCE 1999

Dryer would not start

My Repair & Advice

The thermal fuse did not have continuity and needed replacing. I replaced the thermal fuse and hi-limit thermostat since they came together. The cause was a dryer vent that was very restricted with lint. I vacuumed out the dryer and replaced the vent hose. Now my dryer works great and takes much less time to finish.
