The freezer compartment was cold but the refrigerator space below was not

Appliance: Model GTS221BMARCC My Repair & Advice

This had happened once before and we had a repairman come to fix it. I remembered that he said the problem was that the fan that blows cold air from the freezer to the refrigerator compartment wasn't working. I don't remember how much he charged but since I had just recently repaired our gas stove by replacing the oven control unit, I figured I could handle this as well. I ordered the fan and was amazed that it came the next day. It is a fairly easy repair once you figure out how to get access to the fan motor. Some things are screwed together, others snap together or slide apart. It's just a matter of trial and error unless your refrigerator happens to be identical to the one that AppliancePartsPros uses for their video.
