HELPING DO-IT YOURSELFERS SINCE 1999

One of the igniters was not working

Bill F. • Concord, VT • August 05, 2014
Appliance: Model THERMADOR RDDS30VQW My Repair & Advice

Could not get the stove top off because one of the 9mm venturies was stuck in the in the jet holder apparently from a spill on the stove top and was corroded together. I had to drill the head off of the venturi to remove the stove top. The other venturies were removed very easily. Tried to order parts from Thermodor and they were no help. Parts not available, obsolete.I started looking on the internet and found APP. APP had every thing I needed and I was able to do the repair. Thanks to APP there were very helpful and professional. I ended up replacing the venturi and the jet holder and putting the stove back together. The beginning problem was that the wire going to the igniter had fallen off the igniter therefore would not create a spark at the burner. Plugged it back on and problem solved.
