Lower dishwasher rack drops into door opening when pulled out

Roberto V. • Sarasota, FL • June 12, 2014
My Repair & Advice

We just moved into a new house and discovered several issues with out appliances, The dishwasher's lower rack would drop into the opening between the door and the unit when the tray would be pulled out or rolled back in. It required a steady (strong) hand to pick up the rack in order to avoid the crash of plates when the rack fell into the whole. Thinking that there was no was someone would design a dishwasher with this 'feature', I took a closer look and spotted what appeared to be a second set of axles for pair of rollers. After a quick search on Google, I found the video on AppliancePartsPro.com and saw the solution to my problem, as well as a very helpful and informative demonstration of how correct this problem. My parts showed were ordered on Thursday and arrive Monday morning. In two minutes, the problem was fixed. Thank you Appliance Parts Pro!!!!
