Appliance: Model I DON'T HAVE THAT WITH ME My Repair & Advice

I had called the Lowe's # and they told me the part was discontinued. I had been told by friends earlier that Whirlpool was one of the best to get parts for, so I went on line to Whirlpool.com and looked for the parts # but couldn't find it so I went into some of the questions and answers that were on line and found just what my problem was and the exchange part #, then went online to chat and ordered the part. Adrain was very helpful and ordered the part for me. I was so surprised when the part was delivered the next morning to my house. I didn't think FedEx delivered on Saturday. I had no problem getting the part installed but had a great problem putting the door back on, but also found that answer on line due to others having had the same problem. I think I worked about 4 hours total. I had tried everything with no success, but someone had said to use a couple of nails to keep the hinge from locking, tried it, it worked. Your questions and answers listings are so very helpful. Thank you.
