Oven igniter was weak

Howard B. • Amherst, NY • June 28, 2014
My Repair & Advice

Well I took out the old one and found that the plug in end was previously cut off during a pryer repair. So I had to cut off the plug on the new one so I could wire it together. Now I had to change the mounting bracket it came with as it did not line up with the mounting holes. So I removed the new bracket and put the new igniter in the old bracket. Installed the new unit. Turned in the oven for a test and it worked fine.
