My Repair & Advice
I Google searched and found your video for replacing the ignitor. Sure enough, when I checked it out, the ignitor was glowing dull orange instead of the white hot as explained in the video. There were some inexpensive ignitors available but the mounts were not quite the same. So I went to AppliancePartsPros and found the exact replacement part. I still saved 33% and received it the next day without blowing money on gas to go get the part at a store 30 miles away. It was an easy install and fit perfectly including the electrical connection precluding the need to do any kludgy cutting and splicing wires with wire nuts. Now the oven works as well as when the stove was new. And it is safe! No horror stories about the oven blowing the oven door open when the burner ignited. I could see that happening if someone tried to adapt a part that does not fit correctly. Get the right part, follow the excellent video done by this site, and you will fix your stove safely and correctly and save a bundle of money over a repair call.
