HELPING DO-IT YOURSELFERS SINCE 1999

Range oven wouldn't heat

My Repair & Advice

Shut off breaker for the stove. Unscrewed old bake element, pulled ellement out till the connectors were inside oven, and unhooked the two wire connectors with help of pliers making sure not to drop connectors behind back of the oven. Hooked up connectors to new element, pushed element back untill the hole in the back plate lined up with the hole in the oven and replaced the screw. Turned on power to stove and tested.
