My Repair & Advice

First, I put out the fire. Then I unplugged the dryer from the wall. I ordered the entire heating element assembly (rather than just the coil) on Sunday afternoon. The old assembly had a part number on it that I found easily on the AppliancePartsPros.com website. The new assembly was on my front porch Tuesday afternoon. Replacing the old heating element with the new one was simple. The only difficult part was fitting the rear drum bearing back into the socket (my teenage son figured it out).
