Upper Agitator Not spinning

John T. • Nokomis, FL • March 12, 2014
My Repair & Advice

After figuring out this had nothing to do with "dogs" as most videos suggested (I don't even think this agitator has them.) I determined that the two part upper had worn down connector clips (I'm sure there's a proper name for them but I never saw anything that described this problem) I simply followed the online video for removal of the upper agitator and put the new one on. A word of caution though. There is a metal and a rubber washer under the bottom nut that you'll need to salvage because for some reason they don't come with this part and we're supposed to know that. Don't throw the old one's out and wonder why the thing comes loose like I did before digging them out of the trash!
