Appliance: Model KENMORE My Repair & Advice

I went on line and googled what the problem could be. I then went to utube and looked up video's on how to repair. Everything pointed to the lid switch. I want you all to know I am a 60 year old woman and I tore the washer apart. Took off the lid switch found the part number googled where I could find it and Appliance Parts Pro's had the best price e and said it could be there in most places the next . I ordered it and it as at my door at 10:30 the next morning. I replaced the switch and put the machine back together (little harder). The machine works great. I would have spent way more in having a repair co come out. I was thinking maybe I should just replace the machine. Less than $30.00 was all I spent. Thanks for good service Appliance parts!
