Appliance: Whirlpool Washer LSN2000JQ0 My Repair & Advice

The lid switch on my Whirlpool washer quit working. I contacted several repair companies, all of which told me the model number of my washer did not exist. One company told me if I could get the REAL model number, a Whirlpool washer was very complicated to repair, and I could figure on at least a 2 hour repair at $80 per hour, not counting the cost of the part, which would probably run about $100-150, if they could even find one. I knew the model number was right, (it was stamped on a plate under the lid), so I just typed it in on my computer, and AppliancePartsPros.com came up with the exact part I needed for around $27.00, and their terrific representative Fawn sent us an email with the link to a video on how to do it myself. I got the part the very next day after I ordered it, I followed the easy video instructions, and had my washer repaired in about 20 minutes! You just saved me at least $260-310!! Thank you so much! You are now my go-to provider of appliance parts and repair info. I will tell everyone about your great company! ~
