Whirlpool dryer will not heat

Jerry B. • Killeen, TX • July 05, 2014
Appliance: Whirlpool Residential Dryer LER7648KQ2 My Repair & Advice

I tested each component with a multimeter to see which part was defected. My test results show a high resistance on the heating element, all other components show measure zero resistance. I found the part number on the component that needed repairing and ordered it. The part came in the next day. I check it with a multimeter as well and the reading showed zero. I put it on plugged it up and Woo la it worked. I'm a happy camper. I hope this helps you in your repair. Thanks Appliance Parts Pros, for there quick service in shipping the part.
