My whirlpool gas dryer was not heating

My Repair & Advice

I watched several online videos to diagnose why my gas dryer was not heating up enough to dry my clothes. One of the videos I watched online was from Appliance Parts Pros, which helped me discover the coils were most likely worn out, which can cause the gas valve not to open allowing the gas to come in and ignite. I found the parts list for my dryer and then ordered the coils from Appliance Parts Pros. There was a step by step video showing how to remove the lid and front face of the dryer in addition how to replace the coils. I recently lost my full time job and I am now only working part time and can afford to pay for a service tech to repair my dryer. Thanks to Appliance Parts Pros, I was able to purchase the parts needed at a very low cost and even repair it myself. I estimate by doing the repair myself I saved over $200.00 combined with a service call, parts and labor. It only took me 20 minutes to repair my dryer (it was so easy) and most of the afternoon to 6 loads of laundry. Thank you Appliance Parts Pro's you are a blessing, I have been telling all of my friends and family to use your online website.
