I have found the part I need. The problem is that I can't even remove the broken motor key. It seems the item is part of the hard plastic box. Would you please let me know how to remove and install the new part before I place my order? Thank you very much.

Answer Hi Marly. Shut off the power first. The light diffuser cover has to be removed first. Then you remove the screws that hold the total control assy. up into place. Then you will be able to note all wiring down and use a cell phone to insure proper installation. The switch slider key is part # 5304425246. Thank You.
