My lights are blinking and I don't know if it is the key pad board or the control board that's bad. How can I tell?

My 4 year old Frigidare dishwasher does not light up the front display and does not operate. This occurred after we suffered a brown out condition due to limbs accross the primary power lines out by the street. I verified I have power to the board (red/black wires). Is there a fuse to be replaced or is the board bad and it needs to be replaced. There are no obvious signs of failure on the board.

Latest Questions

My Dishwasher won't cycle through the operations. I did the water/service test and by pressing the start button after each step it seems to cycle through the various processes but never really washes. When started it will run for a few minutes then shut down. If I hit the start button it will go to the next cycle but it only runs for less than a minute and doesn't really finish the process. I hear what sounds like a relay switching on/off. I removed both boards and checked the connections. I have pushed the contacts directly on the switch board and it does the same thing. What do you suggest? Thanks.

I got this dishwasher from a friend. I plugged it in. It starts the wash cycle but after a couple of minutes it shuts off. There was a service data sheet inside the door. The sheet contains steps to do a water/service test. I tried to run the service test. It goes into all of the modes but it doesn't do it automatically. I have to press the Start button to get it to go into each mode. The strange thing is that the service sheet talks about a digital display that shows display codes for different modes and errors. Mine doesn't have the digital display so I assumed it was a lower proced model. I was going to order just the control board because I assumed that the control board would be what controls transition betewen modes. Any suggestions for other things I might need to order?
