How do I replace the AP377038 in my Kenmore appliance? Are there any videos that show how to?
Answer Hi Persol. Remove the power. Then remove the door. then remove the lower drawer. This will make it easier to pull out. Then remove the control panel back. There should be a wiring diagram folded in a packet behind the storage drawer otr the clock control. Then take a picture or write down all electrical connections and connector placements. Use a magnifying glass to denote the connection markings on the board. They can be mounted with 4 plastic standoffs that widen as they are passed through the board. Use needle nose pliers to squeeze them one by one together as you lift the board off the standoffs. Make sure you wear gloves and do not touch only the outer corners of the board. also remember to remove all static ground by discharging yourself 3-4 x on bare metal chassis ground as your body can carry upwards of 30,000 volts to wipe out the board. Thank You.
