I replaced the Ice actuator and everything from disassembly instructions to install instructions were exactly correct and it went like clock work. Then with all the electrical plugs installed paying attention to how they came off and connector keys, once I plugged the fridge back in the auger runs constantly and the water does not work. I am thinking I had a board failure (maybe static discharge hit -who knows) but thought I better get guidance on whether I should replace this board or the power supply relay board.

Answer Chris, The only reccomendation we would have at this point, check and make sure the carrier 241680301 and the control board 241700109 did not get dislodged, or knocked loose and shifted during the repair. If everything is aligned properly, and if you press each selector pad, and can "feel" or hear the mini buttons on the control board depress and release, then replace the control board. My Frigidaire fridge's water/ice dispenser lights are having the exact problem described in this blog post: http://www.technicianbrian.com/2009/08/frigidaire-dispenser-light-problems.html. That is, both the Cube and Crush lights are on at the same time, and every time I open and close the freezer door, the dispenser light turns on. Based on the blog post, it appears I have to replace my circuit board with this one (AP3965498). Now, before I go ahead and order the new circuit board, is there any way I can confirm that the new board is indeed newer than my current board? On my current board, I see a chip with a sticker that says "40429100" and "REV B".

Answer Hi Rodney. The manufacture has determined what the revision is needed currently and you will get the correct part. There is no way to tell the revision because the manufacture does not keep us current on this. Fountain control board part # 241700109. Thank You.

I also have a kitchenaide dishwasher that leaks at the bottom of both sides of the door. I did replace the gasket around the tub but now it leaks more than it did before. Could I have received the wrong part or is there something else that could have been bad also? I did follow your instructions for the ice maker and it will need a new auger motor. I will order it once I find out the answer to my other question also. Thanks, Kate

Answer Kate, did you order and receive [W10112096] , if so you have the correct part number. Now what you need to check is the lower wash arm assembly for debris and possible cracks in the arms, causing water to be directed at the bottom of the door. Check and make sure the dishwasher is not overfilling due to a sticky float or fill valve(the water level after the 5 minute fill and wash,should not be above the bottom edge of the tub door opening). and check the door hinges and door hinge pins on the frame for possibly being bent or distorted.
