Refrigerator keeps beeping, does not cool freezer or refrigerator, and the display is black. The lights are on but there are no sounds from the refrigerator such as fans. Could this be the control panel?

The temps are jumping around on both the freezer and fridge side. Everything will run fine for weeks at a time and then it happens again. The freezer temp seems to be the worst. It is set on -1F but will flash 2F when you open the door then a few minutes later it will say -22F, -40F or something similar. It will get warm enough that things start to defrost. I've already replaced the main control board (241739711) with no change in the problem. I have also just replaced the wiring harness (241641401) to fix a separate problem. The compressor and fan appear to run normal. Thanks for the help!

Do you have the diagnostic codes for the electronic control 241739711. I know how to make it manually defrost but there are tech diagnostic codes for this control just like the manual defrost operation.

Latest Questions

This fridge stopped cooling last night, unplugged it then plugged it back in and it started to work, temps came down to 15 in freezer and 57 in fridge. When I tried to lower the temp, on either one the control would beep and go to the off position. Started it back up and worked fine then tried to adjust temps again but just shut off. Also noticed that when I open the fridge door the readings on the board were off then came on is this normal. Can you tell me what you think the problem is? Thank you and awaiting for your answer.

Just installed a 241739711 control unit. No instructions came with it for resetting. Do I just plug and go? Or do I need to reset the unit? If so, how do I do it. Thanks

I bought the 241739711 replacement part already. But I can't remove the control unit to change out the part. I have already unscrewed all screws but the unit still does not want to come loose completely.
