Answer Cheadley, To force defrost on this unit Hold the freezer up (+) while pushing the fresh food down (-) 5 times in 6 seconds. Up and down arrows on Frigidaire models instead of + and - respectively.

Answer Hello Duane, It does sound like the control board is at fault. Sounds like unit is sticking in the defrost cycle causing unit to warm up.

Answer Hi. Remove the filter. Remove the console rt rear screws hidden in back. This will aid in removing the console along with the 2 -other console screws. The board part # is 241739711. Thank You.

Answer Hello Stan. Test for power to the control board. If there is power there, and the board does not work, you will need to replace the control board 241739711 in the unit.

Answer Hello Stan, First try turning the breaker to the unit off for ten minutes and see if that resets the microprocessor on the control.
