DOES THE BURNER NEEDS A CAP
Answer Hi, the correct burner cap for this burner rated at 9.5K is part number 316213500. The grates are also available if you need to replace them part # 316248500. Thanks!

I want to replace the main top assembly, part # ps2379319. How do I remove the old top & install the new top. Also need to change front right igniter, can I access it once the top is removed.
To remove the main top you will want to remove the burner knobs, grates, burner caps and burner heads. You will also need to pull the unit out from installation to replace the main top. The control panel will need to be removed by removing the screws (one on either side of the unit and 3 under the control panel in the door opening). Once this is done remove the control panel. There will be screws on the inner part of where the control panel is that will need to be removed as well as several around the perimeter. Once all the screws securing the main top are removed, and making sure that the orifice holders are not still screwed to the top, lift the top off and install the new one. The igniter can also be changed at this time. Reassemble unit in reverse.
