Our dryer runs for a few min. and then kicks the breaker. Is there a capacitor that could be heating up ,or is the motor going bad ? If we reset the breaker it will run again for the same time length. Thanks

I have a frigidaire washer/dryer stack unit the motor quit working. I started to invetigate what the problem was. I first disconnected the drive belt and spun the motor by hand it spun easily but I still wasn't convinsed it wasn't bad. I then disconnected the plastic shroud that holds the capacitor and covers the motor. Then I decided to try the motor 1 more time it worked fine so I put it all back together tried it again and it didn't work so I removed the plastic shroud again this time I left it off and was able to run through a compleat wash cycle. I put it back together and ran another load no problem a couple hours later I tried anouther load the motor stopped working again. Could the problem be the capacitor?

Is this capacitor in the start winding? I can't clearly read the specs on the old one. It looks like 200-233 mfd-120v. Is that correct? All of the windings have high resistance and voltage to them from the controler:the motor does not turn. It looks like the capacitor-start winding starts and a klixon switch cuts out the start winding and the selected winding(slow or high) will start.
