Answer Pat, At this point, the timer 297318010 is not the likely issue, unless you have a heavy frost or ice build up on the back wall. You do want to check and make sure, the freezer door is closing and sealing, all the way around the opening. ( using a thick piece of writing paper or dollar bill, Open the door, insert the paper between the door and cabinet, close the door and pull out the dollar bill or paper, there should be a slight "drag" on the paper, if not the door is not sealing properly). Mkae sure the interior light is turning off, when the door is closed, make sure there are no articles hanging over the edge of the shelves, or against the walls. If alls OK, then consider the cold control 216715200 .
my frigidaire freezer is not getting very cold is it possible it needs R134A or could it be some other part does this freezer have a fuse. Thanks

Answer Sam, There are several things to check, prior to dismantling a sealed system. Check and make sure there is plenty of room on each side, top and back of the cabinet, Make sure there is no debris, dust etc. under the freezer, or blocking the compressor area. Make sure the door is closing and sealing properly all the way around the opening, and the control knob has not been accidentally moved to a lower setting. Reset the control knob to a lower setting and listen for the compressor to start and run, or does it "click" more than once before the compressor runs. Thanks and Good Luck
