Answer Hello Jk. There is nothing used inside the unit as you have described. It may have fell in there when the door was open.

Our lower wash arm was burned by heating coil. I ordered a replacement part part (# AP2109312 center wash arm). The part we recieved is threaded, but there is no female threads for it to screw into. Do I need an adaptor? Did I order the wrong part?

I need to know why the lower spray arm falls over? I bought a new arm in thinking that was the problem and after I put it on, it still falls off. The plastic shaft clicks on the new arm and the glass trap slides in and the unit sits on the shaft of the dishwasher, but does not snap or lock in in any way? I push the rack over the lower sprah arm and start the washer and in just a minute it comes off again. Can you please help me with this problem? Thank you so much, John

Answer Hi Vette. If the lower spray arm support part # 154294101 is broken it will not hold the lower wash arm. It needs to snap firmly in place. Is the lower wash arm side clip cracked? Wash arm part # 154568001. Thank You.

The washer was started 7:30 pm and was still running at 9:00 am next day the center washarm was melted and there was a code flashing cl on the display. Just wanted to know what is wrong and the parts needed to fix it? The washarm was not loose it just got that hot in the machine.

Answer Dave, The "CL" in the display indicates the control board is not seeing power from the door switches. You'll need to check the door switch circuits and wiring. I also reccomend you at least visually inspect the control board , there may be an issue there under the circumstances. The heater element was on long enough and got hot enough to melt the spray arm.
