I recently changed the front glide and rear bearing assembly. Also vacuumed everything well and cleaned out the exhaust parts. First time I used it I was in other room and heard it shut off after about 20 min. Went in and was extremely hot and has not worked since. Tried bypassing thermal fuse by connecting the leads to each other. Also tried that with start button. Looks like the control board got very hot as its discolored below it on bottom of cabinet. Any suggestions how to figure out what's wrong?

I ordered the front felt glide asembly for my dryer. I have a lot of play on the drum which moves up/down and sideways should I replace the bearing also and what else should I do ?

I am replacing the rear bearing drum assembly. At the end of the ball assembly. On the one I took off there was an indentation on the end of the ball assembly where the small bearing rode. The replacement ball assembly has a nipple there instead. Is this correct or a bad part. I found a better pic of the assembly on a different site and their replacement parts shows a small indentation.

Latest Questions

Trying to replace rear bearing, but I can't remove the drum. Some say there is a bracket I have to release first. Where is this bracket located? The video and picture show everyone easily removing the drum, but not me :(
