Wife turned oven to 400, it got hot, then she heard pop and saw fire from oven lite area. Took back cover and saw grease from vent had covered the socket. Reading your comments, is it possible that just a new lite socket will fix it without a new oven control panel?

Last night while baking @ 350 deg. we heard a single bang like noise and the oven went dead. I checked the breaker switch and it was still on. Is there an internal part that might have blown? We have not pulled the oven out to check anything as of yet. Any thoughts?

The front left element is not working. I have replaced both the burner switch and the element, but it's still not working. How can I tell if it's the wiring, and which wire it is? Thanks

The oven sometimes does not heat, other times it works fine. If I change the temperature while baking, sometimes it stops heating even though the "bake" and "preheat" lights come on and won't work again until it cools completely. All connections are tight and there are no signs of shorts or damaged wires. How likely is the control board the problem?
