I have installed the EOC that was sent. My oven now works. The new EOC has a zip-tie around the yellow part on the back. Should the zip-tie be kept on or removed?

I have a Frigidaire Gallery Series oven. Model number GLEFM397DSA. During/After preheat I get an F10 error. Tried unplugging for 10 minutes then plugging back in... same issue. I checked resistance on the temperature sensor. It apears to be correct at approx 1100 ohms. I checked resistance at pins 15 & 16 (where the wire inputs from the temperature sensor) on the EOC. It also reads between 1100-1200 ohms. Troubleshooting guide says it is likely the EOC. How can I be sure? Quite an expensive part to purchase and risk not being the issue.

Hi. I returned home and turned on the oven to bake a pizza. There was a buzz and a pop and a smell of burnt electrical. After unplugging it and plugging it back in, everything seemed to work except the oven elements (top, bottom, broil and convection) didn't heat up. The stove top elements and the bottom oven work fine. Even the oven controls (light, temp indicator, etc) all seemed to indicate working order - but nothing heated. I called the store i purchased it from for repair and diagnostic. I was told that the repair would total $460 and that the parts needed were the "control" and the "overlay" because typically in replacing the "control" the overlay was damaged. The part price seemed extreme and I couldn't get the manufacturers part out of them. In looking here - i find the description "control" is a bit vague. I'm wondering it they mean the circuit board 316426501 which according to the Q&A seems NOT to control the oven elements or the clock 316418704 which according to the Q&A seems to control the oven elements is what they meant. Any advice on which controls the oven and may have failed?

I returned home after camping for the weekend to find our stove beeping and flashing an F7 in the left most display and a 10 in the display next to the clock. After using your online chat, the lady diagnosed the problem as being the AP377965 EOC board. I replaced the part, but the failure remained. The oven does function (although the temperature has not been verified) and seems to function properly. I called the customer service number and discussed the issue. She offered to send another AP377965. However, with my electronic technician background, I question whether the new board is faulty. Would you have any suggestions?
