Most Interesting

Oven control board display seems normal, keypad functions and clicks are heard, but no heat. Voltage is available on one side (L1) of BAKE and BROIL elements when controls set "on", but cannot get L2 through Range Clock Control - 316418720 "K4" contact. No continuity when checked with ohmmeter (wires removed). There is continuity through "Safety Thermostat", and power passes through it. If I remove wires "BR-6" and "R-6" from the "K4" contact and jumper them together, then turn on from keypad, the requested heater element comes hot with full 240V. "K4" contact just isn't closing. Is there some control logic stopping it, or is it simply a bad output relay on the control board and the whole board must be replaced? Thanks!

My oven is taking 1.5hr+ to preheat. Both the broil and bake elements heat up, but do not heat as much as they should. I reset the thermal circuit breaker, and it did not fix it. When I have it set to bake and I'm waiting for it to preheat, I can hear it clicking about every 20-30 seconds... Please help

My range's display showed PF and the oven would not turn on. However the small part of the rt ft burner worked. Resetting breaker was no help. By morning the time and PF were blinking so I unplugged the range and plugged it back in. Now it is totally dead with no lights or controls. Is this the control board at fault or something else?

Latest Questions

My Frigidaire Wall Oven (pleb30s9dca) shot sparks out of the front when turned on. The control module circuit board is charred by the relay and obviously needs to be replaced. Is this failure due to the relay on the control module circuit board, or could it be caused by something else? I want to know if simply replacing the control module will solve the problem, or if there are other diagnostic procedures I can follow to troubleshoot the root cause.

My oven temperature varies, as low as 100 deg. below set temperature at times. Other times the temperature is within limits. I checked the temperature probe and it read 1100 Ohms at room temperature. No error codes is the. Elements are working properly, and heat when voltage is applied.

My Frigidaire Convection Oven has a "Convection fan" that operates only part of the time. It comes on at first, then goes off and does not comeback on. I tried messing with the "Oven Door Switch" which shuts things OFF when you open the door, but could not get the FAN to start that way. (The CONVECTION FAN MOTOR seems OK, only because it runs just fine for a few moments when you first turn on the oven.) QUESTION: SHOULD I REPLACE THE Clock/Time Control Panel?? (Your price is about $240)?? Please let me know, I would much appreciate.
