My son just purchased a home, Kenmore range Model #790.95032503 was included. Problem is electronic control head not working properly and none of the burners on top of oven and broiler elements work either. If voltage at wall receptacle is correct will new control head solve all the problems. Thank you for all your help in the past as well as the future. Gary

Answer Hello Gary,
There is something fishy about this. You see, all of the wiring for the surface is completely independent of all of the wiring for the bake compartment. If neither are working, this means you will start at the terminal block, (where the power cord is attached to the unit), and work your way back through the receptacle and breaker box. The wiring separates at the terminal block and goes in their respective directions. If the bake compartment fails and the surface still works, the direction for troubleshooting is cut and dry, (and vice versa).
So, it seems like your issue will be a simple one to locate. Be sure to inspect the spades on the power cord for burned spots. If you find any, the receptacle will require replacement and the burned spots have to be sanded off to prevent burning up a new receptacle.

Code f13 and dr appearing on control panel. Does the entire EOC need to be replaced, or do you just replace the clock timer? Thank You.

Answer Hi Mike. F13 code is a shorted keypad/ clock assy. Part # 318414207. DR code is the door switch part # 316445501 not opening /closing well or a wire connection not tight and needs correction. You can use a putty knife and pop it out from the front carefully. Check the oven sensor part # 316217002 at the back after unplugging the device. It needs to be within 10% of 1800-1100 ohms cold. Rotate the wires so if there is a open (or short) it will show up. Thank You.
