I have a gas oven that is 50 degrees off when cooking at 350 had an appliance guy come out and he said i need a new probe and he would reccomend replacing the main panel also. Would I be better served to just replace the probe and the wire going to the panel as i am having no other problems with the stove other than its temperature issue? If that doesn't fix it than replace the panel at that time. Thanks Dave.

While I was cooking my oven stopped working. All the controls stopped, I lost the clock. No matter what buttons I push I get no response. The range is plugged in and the outlet does work. I do still have electronic ignition of the burners. What do I need to replace? With the holidays coming up, I really would like to get this fixed.

When I try to turn on the oven the Self-cleaning door lock turns on and cycles thru then I get a error code f-1. I disconnected the power to reset it but I get the same results. Any suggestions?

Latest Questions

The clock on the stove goes off, no buttons that I press do anything. I then turn on one of the burners, it ignites and the clock and controls come back on showing the time it stopped. It then stays on for a couple of hours and then does this again. Will this part that I am ordering fix that?

The oven in my Frigidaire FGFL67DBH stopped working. I discovered that if I banged on valve AP3879604, the oven would ignite. I replaced the valve. Then the oven would only ignite when one of the stovetop burners were on. This worked for a while, but after 6 months, if I touched the keypad at all, the oven would not stay lit. So I replaced AP4501685. Now I am back to having to turn on a stove burner for the oven to ignite.

When trying to use my oven I would get a code of F31.... A shorted probe connection. I ordered a new probe and installed it. Now I still get the same code. The wires don't look damaged in anyway. I took the part back out and put it in again and still the same code telling me that the probe is shorting out. Any suggestions? Do I need to relace the whole clock/control assembly?
