John for Model Number plef398ccc
Answer Hello John. Test for 240 volts coming to the terminal block and both elements when the clock is turned on. If the power is there, then test the bake element 316202200 and make sure it is closed for continuity. If the power is not there, replace the clock 316207620 on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
