My stove top was left on all night and now the oven control panel and timer etc is not working. It reads an F30 Error what do I need to replace
Answer Hello Maria. F3 or F30 – Open/shorted sensor (RTD probe) connection.
Check the temperature sensor resistance as described previously. If the reading is incorrect and the wires and plugs between the sensor and the EOC are good, replace the temperature sensor (RTD probe). If the sensor and wiring are good, the EOC would need to be replaced.
We are trying to remove the front panel so we can install a new control board. How do we get the front face off in order to do this without destroying our top?
Answer Hello Mike. Pull off the 4 knobs and unscrew the 4 plastic nuts under them. Once removed, the control panel will lift off the unit. Make sure the power is turned off on the unit before servicing it.
