I just ordered this part (AP2109482) but the difference between my old board & the new one, is the jumper wire from the left side of R36 to the right side of R37...do I need to put a jumper on the new board? Here's a link of a pix of a similar board with the jumper (minus the P4 & R39) but it isn't the board I ordered:

Answer Hello Andre, I think the new board you have is the wrong one. I looked it up by your model number and you need to order a 154362809 instead of the 154362808.

Okay. So I replaced the control a second time and the vent door is still open during every cycle except the dry cyle. As I mentioned before I have also replaced the vent switch, blower and gasket. When I run the service test this is the result: 07 - Sensing/Washing, 06 - Sensing/Washing, 05 Washing, 04 - Washing, 03 - Washing, 02 - Washing, 01 - Washing, 01 - Dry, Blank - Dry and then when test completes the Rinsing/Clean lights are on. So it appears it is not cycling for rinse.

Answer Hello Kevin. It sounds like there is a wiring issue with the unit. There should not be 120 volts coming to the actuator during the wash cycle, and not there during the drying cycle. It sounds like the wiring is crossed and is feeding the unit in reverse of what it should be. You will need to check the wiring on the unit.

The front display panel (push button) has no power, all off but there's power after the push lock switch & all the way thru to the connector for the front panel. Answer Hello Andre. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the control board 154362809 is bad and will need to be replaced. If there is power coming to the board and nothing going out, replace the board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Installed this part and on drying cycle the vent door remains closed and when done the rinsing light is illuminated. The vent opens during other cycles. I also replaced the vent door gasket and switch to no avail. Could it be a bad control? As I recall the vent door opened during the drying cycle with the original control.

Answer Kevin, We did verify, you orderred the correct control 154362809 based on the model number you supplied. A new "faulty" control is a possibility, But first check and insure you have the new control board and switch wired correctly. The manufacturer may have relocated the terminals and or you may have crossed a couple of wires. Thanks

After installing this part the dishwasher when in drying cycle the vent door doesn't open (opens during other cycles) and when to load is complete the rinsing light is lit. I also replaced the vent switch and gasket thinking that might be the problem. Could it be a bad control?

Answer Hi Kevin. Use a volt/ohm meter part # TJMA-DM1 to assist you in your diagnostics. It will be advantageous to find the supplied tech sheet inside the cabinet to aid you in the diagnosis. It allows you to put the unit in a diagnostic mode which brings up fault codes and tells you which circuit needs assistance. Double check all wiring to the board. Keypad (user interface ) part # 154369701. Display board part # 154393501. The control board is part # 154362809. Thank You.
