Answer Hello Dianne. The control board is not hard to replace. Just remove the power. Then remove the top panel and the control panel to access and replace the board. Make sure the wires are connected properly into the new control board.

Answer Hello John, The error code E4A indicates that the dryer ran too long. Either there is a ventilation restriction or overload. Check your ventilation all the way to outside of home to make sure that it is clear. You would also want to check the blower wheel for heavy lint build up. E9E error code indicates line voltage problem. Either you had low or intermittent voltage to unit. You would just hit cancel if this error code shows up. The other error code E5B may have been E68 which indicates a stuck key. You just have to push each button lightly to ensure it is not stuck.

Answer Hello James. E68-Key (button) Struck Fault. Enter function test mode and perform key (button) test to determine which button is at fault. Carefully free the button and perform the test again. If button is free but the key struck code still exists, replace electronic control.
