I have a fridigaire front load washer model #FTF2140ES0. It appears to run thru all cycles with the exception of the spin cycles. I ran the self test and spins and drains properly. I also was able to run the self diagnostic and it give me error code 43 (control board problem> I am looking for confirmation that this is my problem. also what is the dificulty level to replace control board. I am pretty handy with tools but hardly dabble in appliance repair. Thanks, TK

I have the same problem where the other cycles work fine however when turned to normal the 8 hour delay light comes on and it won't start . If the pump is clogged would that not affect the other cycles ?

If the normal cycle on my Frigidaire front load washer model FTFB400GS0 will not run does it point to the control board as the problem.

Latest Questions

My washer will run through all of the cycles but will not high speed spin in normal operation. In diagnostics mode it will high speed spin and all of the tests function correctly. The only thing I get is E43 error code. I have cleared the code and tried again. It just keeps giving me E43. I have replaced both the motor control board and the front button control board and I am still getting the error code E43. I am about at my wits end ready to throw this thing off of the back porch since I have put almost $300 into it and it is still doing the same thing as when I started. Is it possible the new front control board I got is bad right out of the box or could their be something I am overlooking. Thank you

Out of the blue the washer will stop .. the lights will blink and the machine will beep. We can drain it and restart it but sometimes it will run all the way sometimes it won't. After it finishes .. out of the blue it will start beeping. I have looked online and found the error codes .. It blinks 44. We replaced the door switch and it's still doing the same thing. HELP

I've read posts with similar problems as mine, which is a error code E46, Control board problem. Within any cycle when it got to the spin cycle, in just sat there after the pump removed all the water and wouldn't spin. My only beef is that when I replaced the control board (Main control board) I continued to have the same exact problem. I also read that the door switch could be at fault so I checked that and discovered that it was bad. I checked all connections and am waiting for the door swich to come. I temporarily jumpered out the door latch contact that told the processor (Main control board) that the door was shut. It spun in the spin cycle but too slowly to get the water out of the clothes. After spending over 250 dollars on parts I'm wondering if I should just abandon the washer??? Any suggestions?
