I replaced the control board and the freezer is running constantly. So now I think the problem is not with the control board (which I just purchased). I have not wrung out the wires going to the control board. That will take some major work to get to them. So, I'm asking, what else can be the problem?

I can't seem to get the cover off the control board either by prying or by removing the inner door liner. The insulation is molded tightly to the door inside. Do I need to cut through the insulation to get to screws, or can the cover and board be removed from the front, as in some other models?

I replaced the control module and it still does the same thing, flashing the CE code. I put the old one back in. The temp will stay where it is set, The CE alarm will clear when you open the door, also it will turn off when the door is open and will stay off once you close the code starts flashing again. If you dont open the door the unit will still run untill you do open the door

I think my freezer has recieved a power spike. the unit runs and gets cold but I cannot control the temp, it just drops as low as it wants to go. the temp display will stay at one temp until you open the door then it will change. it also flashes "CE". So what part is bad so I can get it back on line
