My Repair & Advice
First I bought the service manual for the washer it is a four year old Electro Lux front loader. The manual helped me get the failure code out of it. E 2 A I believe then I followed the trouble shooting guide , it had me check power at the wall plug for proper volts and cycles. That was good then it said to replace the main control board I picked the wrong part number board from the parts manual the first time I ordered but once I opened the machine up I saw the other board and realized I had the wrong one. So I returned the wrong one and ordered the correct unit. Both times the parts came to me very quickly, after ordering. Installed the correct Main Control board , the failure code is now gone and machine is working properly up to this point. The parts support was great from Aplianceparts Pro , the return procedure for the first board I incorrectly ordered was painless.
