Machine completes wash cycle and the pump comes on to start the spin/drain cycle. A small amount of water comes out then the drain pump loses power and shuts off. The pump works as it should before power shuts off. Is it a control panel?
Answer Hello Jim,
Check the voltage at the pump terminals. If it is there, (120Vac), replace the pump 137221600 after verifying there is nothing in the tub that could be sealing off the flow of water. If the voltage is not there, then the issue could be the control board 134409905.
We have replaced the door switch assembly and the washer will not start now. The code E41 comes up when you push the start/cancel buttons at the same time. Will this part fix the problem
Answer Michelle, If you replaced the door switch assembly 134813660 and didn't notice any damaged wires or connections, then Yes the control board 137007010 would be the next likely issue, " E41- Control board thinks the door switch is open." Apparently the control board is not seeing the door switch circuit.
I just purchased the control board 137007010, and it did not fix the problem E-41 washer thinks door is open. Do I need to change the door lock switch assy. now.
Answer Thomas, At this point you need to check the wiring and the door switch circuit 134813660. This is the component that has caused the E41 error code, not the latch(at this point). The J2 pin 1 connector on the control board is 120 VAC out to the door switch. Pin2 red/black is the return line. With the door closed and power applied to the washer there should be 120 VAC from each wire to chassis ground. Be careful, this is a "live" voltage test.
