Answer Hello Michael, Did you raise the cooktop and check the wiring to the element for a shorted damaged wire? If so, then yes, you'll need to replace the burner electronic control board 316239403KITK.

This is Bill again, I get power to and out on the large connection side, can't seem to get a reading on the 2 smaller connectors that run to the top of the unit, one to the clock control unit, of course I may be doing it wrong. Help?
