My freezer gets cold but refrgerator doesn't.
Answer Hello Barry,
You may want to check to see if there is frost build up on the back wall of the freezer compartment and see if the evaporator fan motor is blowing. Remove the rear wall of freezer compartment and look for impacted evaporator coils. If coils are impacted check the defrost heater and defrost thermostat for continuity. If either component does not have continuity then that component would have to be replaced. If both check ok then you would want to replace the defrost timer or ADC, which ever one yours has. Also check to see if the evaporator motor is running. If not running then check to make sure that you are getting 120 vac to the fan motor. If you are getting 120 vac to the fan motor but the fan is not turning then you need to replace the fan motor. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
