On this double oven unit the bake options and broil functions for upper and lower won't work. There are icons that don't light up, my favorites icons, cook option, cook time and end time on the same side of display. The self cleaning goes on, perfect turkey, stay warm, defrost, dehydrate and bread proof all go on when touching the display for both lower and upper ovens. Also the clock, lights and timer work for both ovens. What could be wrong with this oven?

I select bake ,broil or anything else and I get a power failure on the touch screen when I touch start . I have to reset clock and try again. I can get it to come on if I try broil about 20 times.. After heating for awhile,I cancel and then I can get bake to work. HELP !

All ES500 control touch pads work and illuminate and Oven responds. Power OFF / ON then Bake & Broil and then Kitchen Timer produces Nothing - No Fault Codes. Problem - have to find control Pads with a flashlight because the system "Wake Up" back lighting doesn't come on so you can see to select the desired function. Doesn't matter where you run your hand over the Glass panel - just dead. Is the "wake up" request generated on the rear Panel circuit board or in response to proximity sensed by the Clock / Controller Module? I am a hands on EE - is it a repairable problem or is $$$ part necessary - which part? Thanks! Please don't guess - too many $$$$. Bill
