The controller was actually burned and the bottom connector was burned. Will I need to replace any other parts besides the controller? I want to get all the parts at once so that I can fix it by New Years Day.
Answer Hello Cedric,
Anything in the circuit that is connected to the "bottom connector" can be at fault since wires and connectors are burned by excessive current flow. To determine if anything besides the controller and the harness are needed, you will need to trace the bottom harness to their components and check them with a resistance meter to determine whether they are shorted or not. If they are shorted to ground, they will allow too much current flow causing the condition.
